How much will this cost? Will my insurance cover this?
Dr. Kreutzer and his staff strive to deliver the highest quality care available at the most reasonable cost to our patients. Therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered. The cost of the endodontic therapy depends on the complexity of the case and which tooth is affected. Molars and previously treated teeth are more difficult to treat and usually cost a bit more. Estimated fees per tooth for endodontic treatment can range from around $800 to $1500+, again depending on the tooth being treated and the complexity of the case.
Most dental insurance policies provide coverage for root canal therapy. The amount your insurance carrier will cover may depend on any of several factors: the type of plan, your maximum allowable, the amount of your deductible, if any, and the amount your insurance company is willing to pay for a specific procedure. Please call your dental insurance carrier if you have questions regarding their payment.
If you have dental insurance, a 25% deposit (typically ranging from $200-$400 per tooth) on the estimated cost of treatment is required prior to the initiation of treatment.
As a courtesy, we will be happy to file your dental insurance claim on your behalf. Should your insurance pay more than is estimated, we will promptly mail you a refund. If a balance remains after your insurance has sent payment, our office will send you a statement due upon receipt.
Interest will be charged at 1.5% per month for all accounts over 60 days old.
For your convenience, we accept cash, person chacks, all major credit cards and offer a number of interest-free payment plans for those who qualify through CareCredit (click on the CareCredit link below for more information).
